Stanley Furniture was a plank member of the midcentury modern design movement and, as evidenced by our flagship Heritage Collection, produced a great many original midcentury modern designs in its own right. Over the past sixty years, both contemporary and modern furniture have been an integral part of the brand. This can be seen most recently in the Crestaire, Santa Clara, Virage and Havana Crossing collections.
Our objective with Panavista was to adhere to the core principles of modern design and remain true to our brand’s design language while reaching beyond its midcentury roots in a way that is forward looking, even futuristic, but not cold and severe.
In Panavista, you will find a blend of inspiration that includes midcentury French design, Stanley Furniture design of the 1950’s and 1960’s and the sculptural beauty of 1960’s and 1970’s brutalist design. Carrying the influence of the 1970’s a step further, the Panavista color palette balances the purity of warm wood, crisp white and soft brass with elements of organic texture and rich jewel tone color.
